This acrostic poem/song was created in the shower, where I write all the songs and usually forget them.
J is for jelly ’cause that’s what you are of me
A is for ahaha, haha ha hahaha
N is for “no”, like it’s my middle name
E, even though it’s why my family thinks I’m insane
L is for life, a miracle I’m alive, ’cause
I, I’m “insane” but I didn’t stop my
V, ventricle that keeps helping me breathe
E, even with what my asthma does to me, like
L, oh L, oh L, oh L
Y, yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah
J is just if it didn’t rhyme with must
A, ah hahaha, haha haha-ah
N still means “no”, so let go
E, even if you want to stay

I want to go so
Very far away

Look at how much damage has been done
Yeah, this is me “moving on”
