There’s an N on Your Nose // cute anatomical children’s book ft. letters

My latest guilty pleasure is children’s books. Whether it’s because I’m autistic (stereotypically childish), a dissociative identity disorder system (traumatized child), or just a child at heart is not important. I do often wonder these things — like, am I just into something because of the former reasons? Other people will tell me it doesn’t matter, but it does to me.

•  ?? this is so cute. Like, MUCH CUTER than The Rabbit Listened.
• I selected this book because the typography positioning of the N being on the koala bear’s nose attracted me.
• There’s an N on Your Nose is a super quirky book using basic anatomy to teach kids about letters.
• The story is lovely. The illustrations are also lovely??
• Like, ughhhh. WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO LONG before it’s published? because I need to add it to my children’s book collection now.
• I swallowed this book whole. It’s only 31 pages. At first, I was concerned about how long it was going to go on — how long could it go on? — but then it was over, and I was sad.
• This is so cute that I can see myself buying multiple copies — one for myself, and then one for each of the small children in my family. It’s that amazing of a book. I’m in love with every bit of it that I can’t contain myself.
