I’ve posted about Love With Food before, and since I’ve been busy lately and have produced minimal personal posts over the last few months, I figured I’ve nothing to really lose.
…I also can’t post it to Crunchy Family, as it is not all organic, and blah. ANYWAYS. If you decide you want one, please use my affiliate link, as I will lovelovelove you to pieces. :3
This month’s theme is “Spice Up Your Life”, and the contents are all spicy, though there were some warmer bits. c:
Simply So Sweet Chili Tortilla Chips by Way Better Snacks – These were really great-tasting! They are made with vegetables, like broccoli seed and radish seed, that I dislike, which I suppose, in a weird way, allows me to collect the nutrients of them without the taste being too overpowering? Broccoli, for example, has too strong of a taste for me to like it, and I can’t tolerate it even on its own. The chips lack “yeast” as an ingredient, but there is vinegar in the seasoning, so it’s not the best if you’re avoiding yeast/molds. Then again, anything with seasonings in it is a mold, so…~
Hemp Rules Roasted Hemp Seeds by Ziggy Marley Organics – Hemp seeds were on my list of seeds to try, since nuts are out of the question. I’m not a fan of hemp seeds. Maybe I’ll be able to tolerate them more easily in smoothies or granola bars, which is where I will be trying to put these babies to use, because alone, their flavor is just… well, it’s weird.
5-Spice Dark Chocolate Caramels by Shotwell Candy Co. – Warm in spice, these taffy-like caramel candies have hints of cinnamon and ginger, as well as others whose flavors I do not recognize by default (as I don’t know their individual flavor): star anise, anise seed, ginger and clove. As someone who doesn’t love chocolate, I did like these, because the chocolate was subtle and not too overpowering. It would be good for those who want a balance of sweet and spicy, methinks. :3
Rich Chocolate Cookie Thins by Mandy’s – I loved these, because they tasted like other chocolate cookies I have had in the past, but I can’t name specifically what they taste like. Perhaps it’s the chocolate graham crackers? They’re yeast- and vinegar-free, but they do have eggs. 🙁 Otherwise, I would be all over having these again.
Churro Kettle Corn by Love With Food – :O THEY MADE SOMETHING? AH. XD Anyways, this cinnamon popcorn is really good. I like kettle popcorn, and I think this may be a healthier alternative. Note: It’s produced in a facility that processes peanuts, tree nuts, milk, wheat, and soy. Because of the nuts inclusion in the aforementioned list, I probably won’t be having this again.
Other products included I didn’t try: Green Superfood by Amazing Grass, Lemon Rosemary Seasoning by Fogg City Spice Co., and Maruso Ghost Soy Sauce by Maruso.

You seriously make me want to buy every snack box out there, haha! Right now I have two vegan/cruelty free beauty boxes and a snack box. 😛 It’s a problem! How were the hemp seeds? I know you said the flavor was weird. Was it nutty? Like sun flower seeds?
Liz
It wasn’t nutty, and it wasn’t like sunflower seeds, either. I’ve had linseeds… maybe a stale version of those?
And :X If it’s of any awesomeness to you, your allergy-free kid lunch ideas are so gonna be a thing, and a lot of inspiration will be coming from these boxes, so I’m probz gonna make you want more. 😡 But I’ll give you a break sometimes and share yummy smoothie, faux ice cream, and SunButter recipes. 😉
Love With Food sends out loads of vegan things. 😉
…and, you know, allergies… vegan recipes/foods are often easier for me to enjoy. It’s sort of weird how that works out. :p

I love boxes like these! I get one from a UK company every month. Discovering new food is a big must for me now!
