So if someone buys Mockups Made Simple at full-price ($35) through your affiliate link, you’ll make $17.50 for the sale.
How it works
- Apply to be an affiliate (check my guidelines below).
- Once approved, you’ll receive access to graphics and swipe copy to help you promote each offer.
- Use your affiliate link when linking to my offers.
- When someone clicks your link, a cookie is stored in their browser so Gumroad knows you referred the sale.
- If they make a purchase, a 50% commission will be attributed to your account.
- The next Friday, Gumroad will payout your commission once your income meets the $10 threshold, to either Stripe or PayPal.
Affiliate commission details
You must have a Gumroad account in order to be an affiliate.
Gumroad has a 30-day cookie.
One-time purchase products will give a one-time commission.
Memberships, however, will give recurring commissions as long as the referred customer is active.
You must disclose your affiliate links in a way that is obvious to the people clicking them so they know it’s a paid link.
Affiliate promotion guidelines
I’m so grateful you want to promote my products. Here’s how to do it in a way that aligns with my values and protects your audience — and mine. The vibe here is honesty, care and ick-free.
What’s cool (encouraged)
- Be real. Use your honest experience with my products. Tell your audience what worked for you, who it’s best for and/or how it helped. No need to overhype.
- Center support, not pressure. Recommend products because they genuinely help — not because they’ll convert well.
- Disclose clearly. Always include an affiliate disclosure when linking (e.g. “This is an affiliate link, which means I earn a small commission for referring the sale.”).
- Infuse with your personality. Use your voice, your style, your platform. You don’t need to sound like me — sound like you.
- Use provided materials — or remix them. I’ll give you swipe copy, graphics and example posts — but you can tweak them or write your own. Custom is always welcome!
What’s NOT lively (don’t do this)
- No copying my site or pretending to be me. Don’t lift entire pages, pass off my words as your own or create confusion about who owns the product.
- No exaggerating results. Don’t claim the product will make someone go viral, earn $10k or heal trauma unless that’s something I’ve specifically demonstrated and backed up.
- No fake scarcity or urgency. Only use countdowns, “last chance” language or limited claims if I’ve specifically said it’s part of a promotion.
- No manufactured pain points. Don’t lean into shame-based language (e.g. “you’re failing if you’re not doing this”) to push sales.

- I won’t run surprise sales you can’t prep for.
- I’ll give you a heads-up for new products, updates or promos.
- I’m here to answer your questions, brainstorm content or help you succeed.
