Why so many 404s?!
‘Cause I broke my blog on purpose. 💅
January 23rd, my heart stopped beating for 10s, and I’m not the same since.
I am completely overhauling my blog so YOU know what you’re swimming in when you dive in.
Lemon & Lively had 882 published posts. Most of which were
- useless
- irrelevant
- duplicates!!
Many posts will be merged. Loads were deleted. Some sit in Drafts until I am done repurposing them.
Afterward, L&L had ~300 or less published posts dated prior to April 2026.
Anything published April 2026 and beyond is safe.
Anything published prior is brutally being reconsidered.
Most URLs will lead to a 404 page.
They need to die. ☠️
Where possible, I will be redirecting old URLs to relevant posts.
This is necessary to take L&L from hobby-to-biz limbo → scalable online business.
I started doing this while struggling medically and continue to while managing my symptoms and a full-time job, so…wish me luck!
Or buy me a coffee, which I will use to fund my medically necessary high-sodium diet to keep functioning.

Potential questions
Okay, but WHY are you REALLY doing this?
- My blogging goals have changed. My blog posts/structure wasn’t as connected as I needed it to be.
- I had several duplicate posts competing in search results for the same queries (keyword cannibalization).
I know it’s easy to think there is some hidden agenda if you’re not a blogger, but…blogging as a business requires strategy.
Thinking otherwise is pathologization and projection. 🤷♀️
Why is it taking so long?
Because blogging is like 10% actual writing.
What topics will you cover afterward?
🤷♀️ Every time I think I have a coherent list, I hate it. So I can’t say until the overhaul is complete.
